So... I know I said I was going to do this last week (wait was it two weeks ago)? But I'm doing it now. You saw the potential nominees. You saw the Book of the Month for August. Was your prediction right? Let's see then!
This book is a well known, pretty old book. As a matter of fact, I believe it's been made into a broadway show but I know very little about broadway so that could be absolutely wrong.
Here's my review of the September 3rd Book of the Week:
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was super fun to read, and so interesting with turns I never saw coming. While some of the facts and information swept over my head, I do think that that was the point. And the plot twists. Them plot twists... If you've been on NOVi. for a short while, you will at least know that I LOVE plot twists. As long as I can't see them coming. So I loved this book. So. Much.
Here's a summary for the September 3rd Book of the Week:
Christopher John Francis Boone is not your average kid. He likes prime numbers, hates the colors brown and yellow, and don't even think about touching him. However, when a neighborhood dog is killed, it seems like only Christopher will be able to solve the mystery of Who Killed Wellington?
So, if you didn't already know, huge congratulations to:
The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time by Mark Haddon!
This book was so much fun to read, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
